Taylour House is situated on the High Street in the centre of Edenbridge Town within easy walking distance of various shops, banks, bars, restaurants and a Waitrose supermarket. There is also a museum very close by on the High Street which is an old Roman road linking London with Lewes.
There are two Railway Stations in the town and either London or Gatwick Airport can be reached in less than 45 minutes.
Attractions nearby are Hever Castle, Winston Churchill's home Chartwell House, Chiddingstone National Trust village, Chiddingstone Castle, Penshurst Place,Groombridge Place, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Lingfield Park Racecourse, Knole Park in Sevenoaks and there are many others. Also Historic Steam Trains run on the Bluebell Line from lovely Sheffield Park and the Spa Valley Railway runs from Tunbridge Wells passing the High Rocks on it's way to Groombridge and Eridge.
There are nice country walks all around the area and fishing in the local river Eden.
The area is also used for other country pursuits, such as riding, hunting, golf and horse racing.
