We are British Nationals living in Angola, Africa. We don't normally come back at Christmas, but with my mothers 70th on December 29th, we decided to make an exemption. Taylour House was our 'stop-gap' between two longer stays and it has been a pleasure to stay here for three nights. What a beautiful house! My uncle lives in Edenbridge and my sister lives in East Grinstead, so the location was perfect for seeing family. Our party of two adults and three children really enjoyed the house and the town. Happy New Year!
We booked the Taylour House for 1 month due to our training in a place near Gatwick. We arrived on the 11th November and received a warm welcome and the presentation from our hosts.
It has been a very enjoyable stay in this place with plenty of space. We had some time to enjoy the area, the countrysides and forests. We have made the most of the train stations to London to spend some days there. Thank you to Kerstin and Peter / Merci beaucoup Kerstin et Peter!!
Edenbridge has been the ideal spot to spend our 20th annual family weekend and from which to explore the delights of Kent and East-Sussex.
After a scenic tour of the area, some culture seeking and a little retail therapy, we found ourselves indulging in the local life of Edenbridge with its diverse range of fusion foods and quirky boutiques.
And Taylour House has of course been the perfect place for us to rest our weary heads. Warm and welcoming and steeped in history - it has been like stepping back in time to days gone by, and the footsteps of the Lord Mayor of London.
Many thanks to Kerstin and Peter for all the special little touches - and for such a memorable weekend.
A very interesting old house with so much history. Perfect for a special celebration birthday. Comfortable and spacious and everywhere clean.
We all enjoyed our stay, would not hesitate to visit again. Thank you so much Kerstin.
Kind Regards, Edward

Congratulations for a lovely house, incredible attention to detail and loads of character.
A chance to live a few days in a time warp.
So we enjoyed our stay tremendously, even if the traffic on the High Street is scandalously fast!
But we'll leave with a great memory, thank you very much.
Thank you for the stay! The house is lovely - the area is a real treat!
We had a great time here and look forward to stopping by Edenbridge again sometime!
Thank you very much for our stay.
The house is very well kitted out and we all enjoyed our stay. It was a big relief to find the the house isn't haunted.
You should take some new photos as the ones on the website don't do it justice to how warm and welcoming the house is.
We hope to come back every year.
What an amazing place, such a treat.
Comfy beds and bumping heads
uneven floors and dark wooden doors
